All the places mentioned are great on STT. I know you mentioned you'll be on the East End of STT and I'm about to mention a place on Water Island - go to Subbase/Crown Bay Marina, catch the WI ferry, Honeymoon Beach. Not as convenient for you location-wise but if you're looking for a fun beach place that's great for kids (water is calm and shallow) and adults (swim platform out in the middle of the swim area, Heidi's for food & drinks and Joe's for drinks). Water Island ferry makes frequent runs to/from Tickles in Crown Bay - Sunday has less runs.

Brilliant! Wish I'd thought of that. Reminded me, we took my granddaughter to Coki Beach when she was 20 months old, where she had her first ice cream cone. Several snack bar type places to choose from if you don't want to pack a lunch. Definitely a daytime place. Also, adjacent to Coral World. The kids are too young to get much out of it (maybe the 2 year old will like it), but it's kind of a neat thing to combine Coral World and Coki Beach. Your hotel will probably have brochures, and may even sell the tickets at a discount You can google Coral World for more info on what it is and current schedules.
