Good Morning,
My wife & I are thinking about re-locating to USVI We have been in the restaurant business for the last 10 years can anyone tell us what the chances of landing a restaurant management job are in the islands? Thanks

Without being here?? Zero. Once on-island, the odds are good...but, ideally, you'll want to be here before the beginning of 'season'...which is supposed to be 12-15-09, but I tend to think it starts 11-15-09...JMHO....

I landed a chef job from off island through craigslist. It was a long interview process with plenty of reference checks and phone interviews. It can be done off island, but it's not likely. I think I just got lucky.
Come visit and ask around.
