I'm new to the board, and was thinking about buying a condo in St Coix.
Can anyone tell me whats nice and whats not ? What part of the island is better for retiring ? I've been on some of the realestate sites and some of the condos look very nice, and now i'm confused...

Jack:

It is location, location & location.

What some consider good or bad neighborhoods on STX are much closer together than you maybe used to state side. You really need to check it out for yourself.

What the realtors refer to as condo row is nearer to Christiansted, but is also is in close proximity to several housing blocks.

Some people call the east end quiter others remote.

If you have seen specific properties that interest you ask questions and somebody will have an opinion.

You really cannot do this from a distance. Come down and look around, especially before you buy.
