I've worked at the one in Philly 10+ years ago and am well versed in service, love the company....any suggestions for Food and Beverage positions? I lived in STT back in 2000, loved it and was a fool to come back to the states, myspace url: foodfanatic / Can anyone help or give advice? Planning return May 5th!!!! :)8-)

if you work at a Ritz now it shouldn't be difficult for you to request a transfer, especially if you have the years of service you say.

May might be difficult to get hired since it's going to be a lonnnnnng summer. You could send a resume stressing that you'll be here in May & request an interview at that time but this is going to be a really difficult off-season. Good luck.

What about if you wanted to get a job in September just before the season started?? Would you think it would be an easier chance of landing something at the Ritz?? By the way, how far is the Ritz from red hook??

It's very close to Red Hook but not walking distance. Nobody can say for sure what jobs, if any will be available in September. It's getting worse & worse here.
