Hey Ronnie,

Where was the waterspout pic taken? Was that last Tuesday? I want to see one so I can tell my tornado chasing friends back home that I am one up on them. Well figuratively speaking. I don't want bad weather nor damaging weather. I just would like to see Mother Nature's artistic flair. 😉

You would be surprised what I see! Okay, next time I will email you directly. They don't stay around too long though!

Ronnie,

That photo is fabulous -- I'm so glad you were able to capture it before the water spout went away. The one in your pic looked much better formed and taller than the few others I have seen -- it seemed almost perfect.

Kelly and I vacationed in Miami Beach one Labor Day weekend when a really active tropical sytem that came through and spawned three spouts over the time we wee there. Sat on the outdoor patio bar, drank iced tea and watched them appear and then vanish just as quickly as they developed. Nature is sure able to pull off a whole lot of things that are both frightening and fascionating at the same time.

The StormCarib.com web site is amazing! I stumbled upon it accidentally long before I even thought of visiting, let alone moving, here and was immediately hooked. Would you please tell us how it got started, how long you've been a contributor and how you came to be the go-to guy for STT updates?
