What time do the safaris start running? Where can I find a schedule? Thanks.

There is no schedule - they are independent drivers - the 1st ones I have seen are pretty early - 7am - at least for the early working people.

They also don't run much after nightfall (which is very early here) and their route is very limited. Basically from UVI through town and then up Raphune Hill through 38 to the East end via Tutu and then continue on in the same direction going along Turpentine Run and then either back to Tutu or back down Raphune Hill into town and then West. If you're thought is to rely on them for regular transportation to and from work and everything else, not a good idea at all.

There are no real regular safari stops so you have to wait on the main road-sides for one to come along/flag one down. You can usually catch one from out by the Red Hook ferry dock after the STJ boat comes in to go to town.

From previous posts it seems the OP is moving to STT.

I assumed STT, since STX doesn't really have safaris. We have taxi vans.

Safaris start as early as 5 am and usually stop running by 7pm. No schedule although it seem they have a break schedule as most of them stop on the road by the airport, going to or coming from, the university.
