My sister is considering a move to St. Thomas. How will her standard of living be on $60,000 per year?

This is kind of a vague question- what are her needs?
Can she stay in a studio apartment, or is she looking for a nice 3BR house? Does she go out to eat a lot?
60K could be a lovely living or pauper living, depending on your requirements.
But all in all, the islands are expensive.

Will she be living on her own? If so, 60k a year would be plenty to have a happy lifestyle. If she is supporting a family, things could be a little tight.
