hello i will be moving to st croix in the next month or 2. i am going down 1st to try and get settled before my wife and daughter move down. i will be willing to do almost anything for work but my field is satellite/cable installation/service and/or maintenance/construction. how much hope is there that i can get a job installing satellite or cable systems? thank you.

I think you'll need to hook up with either the local telephone company (Innovative) for cable, and independent franchised (Dish and DirecTV) providers as these are our only options here. There are a couple of STX satellite people who contribute to this forum and I'm sure they'll pop in with some good information for you. Good luck!

tyvm! 🙂 im hoping i will be successful with that because although i was raised to work and will do anything to survive, i really enjoy sat/cable work and(not to be too cocky about it) im extremely good at it.
