Dennis Harding and the folks at Ziggy’s Island Market are hosting their first annual “Sausage Fest,” on Sunday, March 25th starting at 3:00 p.m., with proceeds to benefit Women's Coalition of St. Croix..
Different types of sausages will be donated and prepared with a variety of side dishes. The food will be sold for $10.00 per plate. A cash bar, pool table and games of “corn hole” will be available for your pleasure. There will also be live band music from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m...

For all those who attended---great time was had, good food and drinks and for a good cause.
Unofficially, I heard the Sausage Fest raised over a thousand dollars for the Women's Coalition.
Stayed tuned for the next event---Ziggy's had Meat Fest, Soup competetion, Johny Cake eating Contest, Sausage Fest, ideas for future:
Pizza Fest?
Pasta Fest?
Clam cakes And Chowder Fest??

PS for those 2 message board readers who came up to me to THANK me for posting it on the board, always great to inform and communicate events and or information thru social media. Hope you had a great time!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I made the Italian Sausage Stuffing for the sausage Fest---hope everyone enjoyed.
