From VITEMA:

Public Schools will remain closed on Friday as the weather forecast calls for more rainfall activity tonight and all day Friday. Head Start Centers operated by Human Services will also be closed on Friday.

Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. has asked that only essential employees report to work on Friday at 8 a.m. Non-essential employees are not to report on Friday. Principals, maintenance and custodial staff of all public schools are to report at their regular times and all employees of the V.I. Port Authority are to also report at their regularly scheduled times.

Two to four more inches of rain are expected across the territory over the next 24 hours. Since Tuesday, more than 12 inches of rain has fallen on St. Croix; more than 10 inches on St. Thomas-St. John.
