Good afternoon all, hope everyone is having a great day!! 80 days and counting...lol

Do scooters have to be registered like a car? Do you have to have a special licence, insurance and helmet? (all islands)

You should definitly increase your health insurance coverage. Riding a scooter here is a death wish.

Yes, they have to be registered like a car and you have to have a motorcycle endorsement on your license.

It's also advisable to take out an emergency medical airlift policy.

Yes, a helmet and insurance is also required.

There are two kinds of scooter riders here. Been down or going down. Pot holes and drinking seem to get most in trouble.

My good friend just got nailed on his bike. Illegal U turn from other driver. 8 broken bones in his foot and LUCKILY it wasn't worse. Ugh. If your moving to STT I BEG OF YOU please don't get a scooter. It is so so so very dangerous 🙁
