Your right Alexandra, it's more fun to talk diving.

Do you know anyone who night dives "Armaggedon" (where the old pier was dumped? It is an awsome day dive, and I think it would be even better at night. I asked Derrick at N2 the Blue, and he says they never do.

When last on island, I bought one of the new Mares dive mask that has the angled down vision. Boy, is it nice! It is much closer to your face, but the only down side, which could be a issue for some, is that there is not as much space inside and a little water gets in your nose. In all I really like it.

In August, we were in Roatan, the diving was good, except that the guy I was down there with was uncomfortable diving, so I didn't get in that many dives.

terry - one likely reason that Derek doesn't offer night dives at Armageddon is because it's a pretty deep dive and after he has been taking divers out earlier in the day a night dive is usually a shallow dive due to the nitrogen debt he's got to off gas before the next day's dives begin. For someone who doesn't dive several times every day, a night dive can be deeper... but you don't get to stay down all that long and enjoy the experience. The pier is such a great night dive venue for all those reasons. I agree, though, that Armageddon would be fun to try at night some time.

Are they allowing pier dives now, since the dredging? If so, has the sea life come back, so it's a good dive?
