How come you don't see the Sea Island Hotel advertised. I thought it was opened for business by now. Isn't that the name of it on the boardwalk in Christiansted?

that's a new one on me.

the King's Alley Hotel has been mostly renovated and is partially reopened. There are a couple of old hotels that have been shut down a long time. King Christian and Caravelle and Best Western Holger Danske would be the other boardwalk hotels. Inn on the Cay is out in the harbor and Sea Island Hotel would be a better name for it, actually.

Oh, they're renovating the Comanche Hotel, also. Won't be open in all its new glory for a while yet, though.

You know, it probably was the King's Alley Hotel...I had heard that it was reneamed Sea island Hotel...As you face the boardwalk, it was on the left, right past the Brewhouse Bar (The one that makes it's own beer).

that would be "Fort Christian Brew Pub"... and yes, it's King's Alley Hotel just to the left as you face inland from the boardwalk.
