We're thinking of using Sea Star to transport our vehicles and household items from Jacksonville, FL to STX.
Does anyone have bad experiences to report?
Did they clear your items through customs or was that up to you?

We shipped a vehicle recently, with them, all went well. Did not ship any household Items, so can't answer that one 🙂

I have been meaning to post a review of Sea Star on here. I have shipped two vehicles and a boat with Sea Star (not at the same time). I could not have asked for a better experience. They are courteous on the phone, have probably the lowest prices for shipping a vehicle, and I have never had anything damaged.
Once your vehicle gets here, you will be dealing with Ferol's Trucking. They are also a pleasue to deal with. Very friendly and good communication. Ferrol seems to take a vested interest in his cutomers and their goods.
So all in all, I highly recommend Sea Star and Ferrol's Trucking!
