Does anyone know the whereabouts of Michelle, the speech pathologist who posted back in July/August and was supposed to move to STX mid-August? I think J&T had some contact with her. She hasn't responded to e-mails, so i thought she might not be on-line yet. I'm looking for services for my son. Also, anyone have experience (positive or negative) with infrastructure for kids with disabilities?

Hello Cleric,

She had posted that she would be assigned to Juanita Gardine. Perhaps you might call the school and ask for Michelle the speech pathologist... worth a try. Their number is (340)773-0040

She and her husband are here, they had dinner at my house on Labor Day. I'll check with J of J & T and get her number.

Hi Islander,
The number listed under St. Croix schools for Juanita Gardine is incorrect. It is 773-0050. Still trying to reach her...

Hi Ric,
Any luck? My wife and I will be there 10/14 and 10/15 and would love to hook up with her for lunch or dinner.
Thanks
Eric

Hi, Sara,
My son Devlin is autistic. He is a beautiful, sweet, five_year-old boy. He began kindergarten this year in Puerto Rico, and has adapted well with the use of PECS and schedules. Devlin recently completed a Vineland assessment which placed him at the 24 month level in most categories. He has made great strides in language in the last year, but still has a very limited vocabulary. He is currently in public school with a one-on-one aide, and receiving 3-6 hours per week of speech and ot. We are moving this month and are looking for people to work with Devlin. Feel free to email me or call me at 787-397-1163 and we'll get together.
Thanks
Eric
