Hi Anna,

I have pet friendly apartments. http://www.virginislandsrentals.com

Unfortunately, the only fence is around my own backyard.

Before I bought I put a chain link fence up at every home I rented. If you can get the rental cheap enough it made financial sense to us.

Michelle,
I have a very large one bedroom that should be available about the time you need. The current tenant is supposed to move out around the first of Sept. Maybe a week later, something like that.

Lots of pictures on my website. Also be sure to go to the FAQ's page. All the rents, deposit requirements, etc.are listed there.

Thanks,
Juanita

Do you know how we can transport our parrot? I'm flying down in few weeks with the cocker spaniel, but haven't found a way to get the bird down there.

Hi Kay,
Just curious. Were you able to get a flight that would confirm the dog this time of year? I'm sure you know about the heat restrictions. I am also assuming the dog is too large to go in the cabin. What have the airlines told you about the parrot? I don't remember this question coming up before.

Unfortunately, we are getting mixed information everytime we call on the parrot. Humane society just said we need certificate of health from vet and now dept of ag is saying must do formal application and it takes 3-4 weeks.

Also, the airlines give you different information, depending on who you talk to and when. American, Delta and United have all said at one time they can transport the parrot in cabin at such and such price, then when we call back to make reservations, they "can't" or else the price has more than doubled. I am very frustrated and don't know where to turn next. The dog of course is cargo or check in.
