shipping a car in a container

Can you ship a car in a container and fil the unused portion with other stuff?

I did it in 2008 through Crowley.... 20 ft. container with a car and the rest was packed with boxes.

yes you can. Call and ask. You will have to have a towing company lift it up to the container as the container is about 5' off the ground. Gas tank has to be empty obviously. I would do the math and figure out if it is cheaper to get a larger container for the car and your belongings or if it is cheaper just to ship as normal

I've done this twice. You CANNOT have any items in the vehicle other than the jack, spare tire, and manual. The gas tank needs to be less than 1/4 full.
