Hello,

I have a question about shipping a vehicle to St. Croix (from Texas). I read somewhere that I could not ship a vehicle if there was a lien against it - the vehicle needed to be paid in full and I would need to have the title on hand. Someone elase said that this was not true, it was possible to ship a car even if the bank held the title. Any clarification on this issue would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

Hello Nigel,

You can't ship a car to the VI if there is lien against it, unless you get special permission and documentation from the lien holder allowing you to. So you need to speak to your lien holder.

Teresa - I remember you shipped a car with a loan on it, any tips on doing this?
