I need help shipping out a time-sensitive package from STX on Monday via FedEx - and when I look up their location in Peter's Rest online, it says they are closed, as in closed all the time. Where can I go to drop off an overnight FedEx package? I know some of you use them all the time so I'm hoping someone can give me an easy answer. 🙂 Thanks everyone!

Get a recording with the same info. Hence why I'm asking here. 😉

Try calling Fed -X STT and maybe they can provide the info for a STX connection.

There is no direct number for either location, just the same 800 number and it's the same recording of hours. If you punch out to an operator you just get routed to a regular operator and they don't know. So I'm asking here instead of spending an hour on the phone. I'll probably have to get an envelope too, so I need to know where I can pick up supplies.

Worst case - and this is probably what I'll do - I'll just go to the Post Office and ship it priority overnight on my own dime. But I'd like to use the label they're sending to me.

Julie, they may have moved out by the airport, where all the other shipping co's are. There's a strip warehouse area just before the airport on the right, traveling west. Hope this helps you...

I was wondering about that, I know where UPS is, if they're out there. I may have to drive around tomorrow. Online they still show the Peters Rest location, it just says closed. :S I'm going to ask at the mailbox store too.

ETA - I think I'll just pay the 20 bucks and ship it overnight USPS. Worth saving the time! But if anyone has any more helpful advice, I'm all ears.

I seem to recall they did not work in the mornings, just after or around the time the plane came in and then did deliveries etc

That's what I'm wondering too, maybe they just don't have any "official" hours?

Okay.

Here are the numbers I have for Fed X.
877-838-7834
here's a cell phone for their manager.
340-642-2595

This is from a couple yrs. ago so no idea if they are still same numbers.
Plus STT but possibly you can get info for STX.
Good Luck.

FedEx in Peter's Rest is open until 5:30 pm every weekday. I was there earlier in the week to drop off a package. They also have a drop box outside the door.

Yes, FedX has an office out by the airport. I was there a month ago to do some shipping.

Thanks! I'll go by there first before I go to the post office then. I bet their hours are just not reported right in their online system.

Side note: a few years ago I used usps overnight and it took 3 days. FedEx was faster. Not sure how performance compares these days.

Thanks for the info. I have used USPS overnight several times in the last year and so far each time it worked. But I'm definitely going to exhaust the FedEx options first - I have a free shipping label from them too, woohoo! 😀

Note to all: I went by the Peters Rest FedEx location today, and just like sunshinefun posted, they are open M-F 9 to 5:30. Disregard the FedEx site posted hours.
