Hello, I was just wondering if there are good , honest single women , looking for the same in men. I know this is going to maybe start something, but to get the blood boiling, ya gotta lite some fire. ha

Since there are so many single men to single women, I hear as much as 6:1, the saying here regarding meeting men is "the odds are good, but the goods are odd". If you don't know the answer to your question, you'll probably be considered "odd" and won't get anything lit... much less boiling. LOL

Maybe it's just me - but there's no sign of the 6:1 meaning anything. I am just as single and unapproached here as I was in the states.

Hey Linda from Michigan,
I can't tell you about STX, but the single women (and married women) I've met here on STT seem to be approached often. Why not come and visit STT & STJ and see if the "odds" are better here! I know of one good, honest single woman from this board who thinks they have met "Mr. Right" since they have arrived here in STT, I'm sure you can too.

Thanks for the invitation to STT. One of these days I'm gonna do the STT to STJ and back trip. Seems like a nice way to spend a weekend.
I truely am not worried about the "Mr. Right" thing. I am very content being by myself. Alot of people have to be around someone. You know - any boyfriend is better than no boyfriend (goes the other way too.). I am around people all day long - so there are times that I welcome my peace and serenity. After all, THAT is what I came here for.
Although, it was nice for a while having someone to share how my day went.

Well, I'm definitely not "Mr. Right" - but I'll be there on Aug. 20 and you can share your day with me!
Russell's already there...he met Ric at Off The Wall Wednesday night.

Just got back from my pre-move visit today...definietely was approached more on STT than i am here in the states...by both locals and mainlanders. Althought nothing was inappropriate or too forward, as i was warned about. had a great time dancing and meeting ppl at shipwreck and the greenhouse on "two for tuesday" everyone was awesome, cant wait til march to get back down there...

good to see he's feeling better! And it is the wonderful friends I have made on this board that I love! You and Russell are wonderful people - as is Ric and Linda J. - Whom I miss terribly!!!!
