Hello Aspen,

My family and I arrive on March 6th. We're relocating from PA. I'm 37 and still play soccer myself. I too hope to get back into at some point once I'm settled in and the culture shock is all gone. I know that they have somewhat organized childrens soccer but don't know about adult. If I don't play I would like to get involved to some capacity. I was a high scool soccer official for 8 years and coached at all levels including high school. maybe we'll meet one day.

Hello Aspen and Beatrice,

My name is Martin, and my wife and I will be moving from Chicago on March 15th. I will be looking for a competitive adult soccer league. Please PM me to coordinate and/or exchange ideas. If there isn't an adult league already, why not start one when we all arrive? You can contact me at kausa10@yahoo.com. There are very active over 30 leagues here... why not on St Croix?

To the locals... are there leagues in place already?

Yes, there are. I am sure you will see them practicing on the fields once you locate them. In St Thomas they play a lot by the University and sometimes in the Lionel Roberts Stadium. Don't know where in STX.
