my fiance and i live in the keys now and are wanting to relocate to the virgin islands permenantly.... was wondering what (if any) social work positions are available? most of my experience is with at risk youth, juveniles deliquency, and adoption agencies. any help or information would be fantastic.

Social Workers, esp MSW are needed. Probably you would have to go through Human Services for government job, but there are private agencies as well. I don't know of adoption agencies, I have a feeling it is usually done within a family...They have been advertising for theraputic foster care families recently, must be a new federal program?? This is one of those areas where it would really help to be here for networking, talking to other SW's etc...
