Based on the radar STT has been getting hammered for quite some time. Jane Higgins on stormcarib posted that it is 69 degrees on the north side! STX has been getting a lot on and off very heavy rain. We even had a power outage (well of course!)

I'm having thunder and lightning storms, myself!
Gotta keep up with island weather and goings on as still have a home with tenants in it!

Tortola got pounded from what I've heard.

Apparently there's a 44 ft. Catamaran sinking in Christiansted Harbor with
one hull 3/4s submerged. Have called USCG.

2 boats sunk in gallows bay. one looks like a 36ish foot power boat. the other cant tell what it is because there is only a little bit sticking up. i hope no one was on them.

lost power for only about 1/2 hour. other than that it was a great storm and still raining now.

Little la Grange, STX, power went out around 8pm. Still out!
Most chairs outside are not in their normal place. My table on deck blew about 4 ft across my balcony.
When I went outside to start generator at first light, I saw that my banana tree was now flat to the ground. BBQ was overturned.

Even though, I'm assuming, this was not named, it had more wind and rain than did Erica two years ago.

It was a crazy night! Biggest bolts of lightning and loudest thunder I've heard in awhile.

That sucks that two boats sunk!

I wonder how much rain STJ and the BVIs got. I think they got it the worst.

4.5 - 7 inches on St John, worse on the east end. Thankfully, few serious problems, and power stayed on for most.

Anegada must be underwater by now!

Did anyone see the video and photos of Tortola flooding? They're circulating on Facebook, assume they are true. If so, the flooding was unreal! Not sure in what area of Tortola they were taken.

Send me a PM and give me your email address and I'll try to email it to you
