I purchased a half acre building lot on St. John last year with the intent to build a 2 or 3 bedroom non-mansion. I was told to expect to pay $200 sq.ft. Will the Home Depot on St. Thomas have a major impact on future building costs? Are there many quality builders working on St. John?

There are many quality builders on St. John. I don't think Home Depot will impact the cost as much as they will the variety of available goods!
