I know I always do this but I usually get such great info from people on here. I'm going to St Maarten/St Martin and Saba Island next week and I would love to hear from anyone who has been there. We are spending only 2 nights on St Maarten and four nights on Saba. Recommendations on places to go and things to do?! Thanks in advance, as always!

Been to both many times.

On St Maarten check out the Soprano's Piano Bar upstairs on the Maho strip. What price range hotel are you looking for? You'll find everything on St Maarten/St Martin. Everything from La Samanna on down. I usually go to St Maarten for the food and night life and find the Royal Islander Club La Terrasse Resort to be convenient. Its on the Maho strip right next door to Casino Royale.

If you are on Saba try Eddie's Swinging Doors on Sunday night for Steak Night. Also eat at the Brigadoon. Besides the SCUBA diving, climb Mt Scenery up into the cloud forest. I stayed at Willard's the last time that I was there. Spectacular view from the balcony but not directly in Windwardside.

On STX we have had a group of young visitors from Saba for the past 3 years. http://beapilotclub.sabacomputerconsulting.com/index.htm
