does anyone know when the Parade will be next year? I am thinking it will be on the 19th.

They never confirm the date until the permits are approved, and that doesn't happen until after Three Kings Day. Here is the Facebook page link:

"Hello!
Regarding the 2016 Parade date: The committee has chosen Saturday, March 19th, 2016 for the parade date. This is the date we would like to have, but it is not guaranteed. The permits are usually issued to the committee after Three Kings Day, which is January 6th, 2016. We do not see any reason that the date would have to change, but until we are formally issued permits, we do not want to officially announce the date. Please check the website and our Facebook page for the latest information and any official announcements.

I am coming Jan 10th and need to book my return flight sometime after the parade so I guess I will go with the 19th date and hope for the best.

We had the same problem 2 years ago, when my daughter and SIL were trying to book so they'd be here for the parade. VIPD was very late issuing the permits that year, but they approved the planned date as they always do. They ended up paying more for their flights because they waited. I say go for it. There's no reason for them not to approve the planned date.

I have only seen the parade be the saturdat before st pattys day. You should be safe with the trip
