Hi everybody!
I am a teacher considering a potential position at St Peter and Paul Catholic School on STT. Would like to know your experiences and/or impressions of the school.
A few more questions -
What is the best cell service provider on STT? Do most people find good coverage with AT &T?
We (my fiancee and I) are moving to STT in August and were wondering what products/items we could bring from the mainland to get us started that are usually more expensive in the VI. (Plastic water jugs? Cleaning supplies? Non perishable food items?) My fiancee's job is paying for his shipping so we don't have to skimp on packing.

Very good school in my experience of over 3 decades - great graduates - and faculty - should be no problem.

Just about everything is more expensive in the VI than on the mainland, so bring all you want, since you aren't paying shipping. However, the goods may be subject to an import tax. I don't remember the tax rate, or what it applies to, but others on the board might know.
Things which are notably cheaper here are: gasoline (on STX), certain booze, and cigarettes.
