We are moving to STX July 1. Are there any fun July 4th weekend events/ festivities happening on the island? Where is the best place to look up local calendar events etc...?

Thanks.

Rebecca

Nothing on the gotostcoix calendar yet about fireworks. Anybody hear of anything yet, or is it still too early?

Does it say where, specifically in Fredericksted? Does anyone know if the larger resorts like Buccaneer do fireworks?

July 3rd? Strange that they're doing it early.

Any idea what time they'll finish? My flight arrives a little before 9pm. 🙂

The celebration goes on all weekend to celebrate Emancipation Day July 3 which culturally overshadows Independence Day, July 4.
The activities were listed in todays Avis. A fort to fort march, a food fair, a quadrille, a forum about the constitution and other stuff all around the pier and Buddhoe Park
