Anyone know if there is much call for a cleaning business in STT???I will be moving there in AUG. and have run one for 7 years now.Figured with all those rentals, and condos there might be a place for what I do???Any feedback would be welcome!! I want to buy a place on STX,but will have to start out on STT(I'm afraid) til I can get going and know the VI better. Thanks! Lora

Hello Lora,

Its worth investigating. 😉 There are a few small businesses that do this and also individuals. The individuals typically do dusting, vacumming, polishing etc. say on a once a week basis for a few hours at offices/businesses. And the cleaning businesses do steaming, carpets etc. and also smaller jobs too. Also you have villas that are cleaned during guest stays and between guests -not sure about that arrangement; whether villa agencies have their people in house or if they contract it out. Good Luck!!

Typically the villa rental companies parcel out their work to various cleaners. They try not to overwhelm any one group or person.

Lora,

We will be needing someone beginning about the time you plan to arrive for our condo. If you are interested in discussing, please let me know.

Let me know when you are up and running. The condo I'm renting was supposedly cleaned before I moved in, but was less than satisfactory. I'll hook you up with the management when you are ready.
