Hello,
My wife and I will be spending a week in STT during December, staying at the
Marriott on MorningStar Beach. I am looking for some good places to fish from the
shore, beach, rocks, etc. I belive there is not a public fishing pier like in Flordia.
I always take my gear and would like to catch some tarpon, jack, or anything else
fun.I always fish catch and release and enjoy the scenery as much as the fishing. If anyone has advice on where, in relation and preferably close to the Marriott, bait or lures, I would really appreciate it.

There is very little fishing from shore here. You might want to hook up with some folks and split the cost of a day trip on one of the fishing boats. Email me if you want some names and contact info on the boats.
