Just wondering what is the policy on guns in STT, with all of the changes we are seeing all over the states i was curious to see if handguns were legal with permit or if they were all not legal.

email this question to Clayton Perry, The Gunsmithy, at clayton@viperry.com. He's an ATF certified arms dealer...he'll know for sure what the laws are (all the Policxe here buy their guns and ammo from him)...but, as I understand it, a gun for home protection is legal, but you would need a license to carry...

Firearms are legal with a permit. Permits are issued on a "get around to it later" basis and may take months. The local teens are currently eliminating each other with the abundance of illegal guns and ammo on the island. The cops ask for help from the public to solve these shootings, but will not shake down the obvious suspects walking around at night with one hand on a gun. There it is.

Permits properly applied for thru an Authorized ATF Agent take no longer here than on the mainland...once again, contact Clayton Perry...340-772-2529 is the number to Namaste Cafe, which he also owns...
