Shinsen, a new sushi restaurant, opened this weekend. It is located within Indigo at Magens Point Resort.

Good to know! Now if we could get some reviews! Indigo has great food, hopefully the sushi is good as well. I still like Buddha Bar, but options are always nice!

Jay, the signs are up at Beni Iguana's and it sure looks open for business, but I have not spoken with anyone who has actually been in. I will try to swing by today or tomorrow and will file a notice. I too am interested!

I went to the Havensight Beni Iguana's on Saturday. The food was pretty good. The tuna on my nigiri rolls was slightly past its prime, though.

What I loved most about the place was the decor. Wow! I want my house to look like that. Very Jetsons. Great lighting. Uber cool.

One big negative. The bathrooms are right at the entrance and they make you get a KEY from the hostess. Wow. That just took what could be a high end establishment and dropped it way down. A nice restaurant and you have to go in front of everyone to get a key that's attached to a foot-long slotted steel spoon? Puhleeeeeeze..... Felt like I was at a truck stop.

I get that they want to keep non-patrons from using their restrooms, but can't the hostess, who is stationed right there by the door, do that?? Or, just suck it up and accept that once in a while a non-patron will cost them a flush.

Is it all sushi or do they have anything else?

Shinsen is just sushi but it's within Indigo, which has a more extensive menu.

I meant Beni Iguana's since it's convenient for me.

I don't recall seeing much other than sushi/sashimi but I wasn't looking for other stuff. They did have a few salads (mmmm, love seaweed salad with toasted sesame oil-- next time I'll remember to bring dental floss, though)

They have a website with menu-- beniiguanas.com

Their menu is online. Just sushi/sashimi.
