Hello!
Does anyone have any info on Dish Network? Getting ready to switch (husband wants hockey BAD!). It seems the equipment on island is extremly expensive! Does anyone know if you can use old equipment from state side?

The dishes you use are different (much larger) than the typical dish network equipment in the states. I think mine was $300-$400, installed with 2 receivers. I know someone who brought a dish with them when they moved, believing they could simply re-install it themselves here.... but it didn't work out. There may be equipment out there that works in both places, but it's not universal.

Should be able to use the same receiver, just need a bigger dish.
