STX Beaches with a Boat Launch Ramp?

Greetings, Friends...

Does anyone know of St. Croix beaches with decent swimming/snorkeling that also have a boat ramp? We've already found the Cane Bay beach, which has a cement ramp that runs from the road into the water, so I'm hopeful there might be a few more out there.

Thanks!

HC

Hello HC,

I am drawing a blank on this one. I hope you get some more leads 🙂

I'm also drawing a blank. Call St. Croix Marine at 773-0289 - they will know.

Thank you, Islander and Pamela. It never occurred to me to call the boat folks on the island -- d'oh!

Boat ramps can sometimes be the key to accessing the water for folks in wheelchairs, and I am DYING to get in the water in as many places on island as I can. Hopefully St. Croix Marine will have to email me the list because it's so extensive. 🙂

Thanks again!

Hip Crip,
When you get over to St. Thomas, let me know. One of the boats in our fleet is wheelchair friendly - even has an elevator so you can visit the fly bridge. Elevator opens up to a huge stateroom where the showers are designed to roll the chair in and then a handy shelf at wheel chair level .... nifty, nifty boat even if they wouldn't let me ride in the elevator 🙂 Let me know when you are over this way and I will see if Jerry will take us out for a day at a "discount".
Pamela.
