Anyone bought any beef from the food town on STX lately? I believe they have changed their meat to the local senepol variety. I think it has a very strange "off-putting" flavor. I have bought a couple of steaks and some ground beef over the last week and have been less than satisfied. They could at least mark their beef as local or imported!

I love the flavor of the local beef. If you have only ever eaten feed lot beef it does have a different taste.

I would love this if it's true. Havne't sampled the meat from there yet but love getting some from Annaly farms!
It is decidedly different but for my wife and I we liked the difference.
