Good Evening Everyone,

I am not sure if I am using the search incorrectly but I couldn't find anything on here about helmet laws. I did find a govenors web site that said helmets were required. Are they required on STX or not?

I really need an STXBOB search bar on my computer! He's so good at finding stuff on the web. :@)

Even if they are not (although I think they are), I would definitely wear one on STX. Between the crazy drivers, potholes, bad lighting at night, crazy drivers and local wildlife, it would be crazy not to wear one.

There are two kinds of motorcycle riders
Those that have been down
and
Those that are going down
Be smart when you ride, wear a helmet

Just for the newbies - prior to the helmet law being passed and specifying type helmets must be worn, you'd see all kinds of things on the heads of motorcycle drivers, including pots (as you use in your kitchen.) Quite funny at the time but not very safe.

It might not have been very safe but at least they had the right to make the decision for themselves.
