Will the experienced underwater hounds please give a lost full time resident tips of the most beautiful snorkeling spots on STX? Prefer to leave from shore or other to explore. Do not own a vessel to venture off shore, but would love to know recommendations please. Just starting to venture out.

Safe for vehicles, if there is such a thing? Avoid "Park & Pray" areas?

Thanks everyone for any recommendations.

around the corner to the left at Butler bay is a very nice area. It is a bit of a swim though.
