So back to LaValle...de mangoes and quenip rip yet?

yeah the mango tree in my yard is covered,but i've not seen anyone sucking genips yet, there a tree by the old picnics in paradise but it's not ripe and they are selling mango's 4 for a buck at the corner store, the small ones they call the juliet i think

gosh i could get rich selling mango,limes and papayas

and now the tomatos and peppers and melons that i have in pots are starting to flower

I've been "coopin" all the genip trees waiting for them to get ripe...then Melissa made an observation that made me go hmmmm...

ever noticed the roads are lined with genip trees...do you think it's cause of all the people sucking them while driving and throwing the seeds out the windows? 😀

Sorry to tell you the little blond dog was hit and killed. We live very near the area and everyone on our road tried to pick her up; we left out food and water but she just wouldn't let us rescue her. She stayed on our side for a while but when she started crossing 75 we knew she wouldn't last too long.

I'm jealous of your mangoes! When I was there in February, obviously, there were none. When I was a little kid and my cousins in Miami had a huge mango tree, I didn't like them... and now I love them. Figures. When does mango season generally start and end on STX?

Oh my God. It was Saturday morning, we were on our way to Sunny Isle, and we had a bunch of stuff in the car, so my husband said he would go back. As soon as we got home, he got in his truck and went looking for her. I even said to him, now that we've decided to pick her up, I hope it doesn't cause some bad karma or something like that. My husband just left to go to Caribe. I know he will be looking. I really hate to have to tell him. Thanks for letting me know.

still watching,some of the senators are really kind of embarrasments,you just cringe when they talk,the woman on the diageo panel is very gracious,usie's just downright rude and condescending
