I noticed awhile ago that Sugar Bay Resort has a nice new sign. Offically not associated with Wyndham.

Does anyone know if people are losing their jobs since Wyndham bowed out?

2 friends that work there did NOT lose their jobs.
One said they weren't sure if anyone was going to lose jobs, so I just wanted to see if anyone on this board heard anything valid.

Nice letter. Hope they live up to it.

Im staying at the resort as we speak and my friend is a chef here and he said the Wyndham was just managing the resort and never owned it. A couple of brothers from New Jersey own it and still do. As far as people keeping their jobs, all good. A few bartenders and my friend said that the resort needed change and its changing for the better. The resort is a 100% all inclusive resort now and for the past week that I have been here, it has been at 100% capacity and for a day or two, they have been overbooked.
