It always does.

Can’t say how many times I’m at Home Depot or Sunny Isle and it’s pouring, only to drive home (east end) and find bone dry conditions.

Well yes, that's our wonderful multi-climate island, desert in the east, rain forest in the west.  Nice rain today at Pelican Cove

Sweet Rain!!!!!!!!!

Top of Rattan

January 1 thru April 30    =    3.54 inches

May 1                                      =  3.62 inches

Clean and Coat Cisterns in January had to dump all water.

4 Loads since then.

This morning 35% in both cisterns.

NO MORE LOADS FOR ME!

House closes 7/19!

CD

That was one hell of a night! Loudest thunder I think I have ever heard!

I went from thinking the SW would get all the rain earlier, when I saw the radar with the approaching rain, to disbelief when Hermon Hill got the deluge  too!

The rain was badly needed, but I hope that the ground was able to absorb it all. I also hope the farmers didn't get flooded. Sometimes too much rain all at once can be destructive.

Rolling Thunder... yes!

Got about 2’ of water added to the cistern. And I have gutters on my 20’ container that feed a 330 gallon buffalo tank. Use it for watering the garden. It was near empty before the storm, overflowing this morning!
