Tax Question

I've read a ton of the previous posts on taxes in the USVI but I wanted to make sure I'm understanding this ....

1. The amount of federal tax which is taken out from my paycheck would be the same but it just stays in the USVI

2. There is no state tax

Is that right? Are there any other USVI specific taxes taken out?

I'm trying to figure out a general budget and am not sure how much to deduct from the salary to figure out our take home pay.

Thank you 🙂

The only taxes taken are the USVI equivalent of the federal tax, the medicare tax and social security.
