There is a thread on STX but how about St Thomas? Our cooking facilities are not too good. Where is a good reasonable price dinner with all of the usual goodies? Someone told me they eat sometimes at the hospital! Anyone?

Molly Molones advertised a $20.08 Thanksgiving Day special, all you can eat starting at noon. They want reservations made if you're a party of 6 or more. Kids under 12 are half price.

Doubt you'll find anything less expensive.

Last year we were pretty new in town, and went to Victor's Hideaway. It is an adventure to find it - near the Airport. They apparently do a lot of catering and they sling some of the kitchen production to the few who want to eat on premises. The view is good and the food is good - the service is slow because they are really busy putting out cater orders, but on Thanksgiving afternoon, why be in a hurry?

Today's paper announced a Buffet at the Great Ballrom Ritz Carlton from 2:00 to 7:00PM $68 Adults/$28 for kids. Menu stated: Turkey, Leg of Lamb, Ham, Mahi Mahi. I'd say if you can't find it here you can't be hungry. I'd come early and eat all day, take a swim in the pool and go back for more. Oh yea it said to call for reservations 755-3333 ext.8601. Let us know if you go..out of my pocket book range.

I didn't think non-guests could use the pool.

I heard that Island Beachcomber was doing a buffet for around $25.00. It'll be deep-fried turkey among other things.

That happens a lot down here. One of the benefits is you spend time with people you choose to rather than those to whom you're obligated.
