I wasn't necessarily talking about here but governments in general.

You voluntarily threw your voter's registration card in the garbage (as if that's making any kind of statement) so if you don't vote, you don't have any call to criticize. Apathy reigns, indeed.

That is the lamest argument.. If a system is broken and rigged what is the point of voting? You REALLY think any politician is not bought and paid for by some special interest. The statistic do not lie. The wealth gap continues to grow. Median wages for the middle class have been stagnant (adjusted for inflation) since Nixon. "Hope and Change" or whatever the next new campaign catchphrase will be is nothing more than words. Sorry, not sorry for participating in a sham. I'm FAR from apathetic. I care a great deal but am realistic enough to know my vote and concerns matter not to those elected. Me, you.. We're not part of their club

I vote every election and I don't have a card any more. Lost it in Hugo and I'm not going to pay to replace it when I don't need one to vote.

The point was that he doesn't vote. Not whether he has one of not.

I will support any candidate who advocates for greater access to health insurance. You shouldn't have to do without if you're not working for the government or large corporation. Small businesses in the U.S. are at a disadvantage in attracting and keeping talented employees, because they often can't offer health benefits.

Maybe if there weren't so many paid government holidays for government employees they wouldn't have to slash department's budgets.

That would be too unpopular and too conscientious and bold a move to do. Gotta get those votes.

Meanwhile, Monarch Mapp reigns in his luxury $12,500.00 per month rental. That's the base rental amount. Who knows what else we're paying for that goes along with it? Pool service, grounds-keeping, utilities, bodyguards, a chef? Ironic, don't ya think?

Ironic, don't ya think?

The height of hypocrisy.
