I have been following this board for about 2 years now and I am FINALLY ready to pull the trigger and plan my PMV with my husband. I will be traveling to STT this winter for a month (February/March).
I have reached out to Carol Corwin about a short term rental in Frenchman's Bay Estate. She got back to me about initial availability a week ago, but I am having difficulties getting a response from her again to finalize things.

A quick search on the message boards today for short term rentals brought me to Wintberg Place, which also looks quite nice, so I emailed them as well.

Does anyone have any feedback on either of these places? Are the locations safe (I'm a city girl, so I'm street smart, but I still want to be in a relatively safe neighborhood)?
Are there any other suggestions for short term rentals for 1 month this winter (Mid Jan - March) 1 BR, private bath, less than $2,000/mo.

Over the years I've heard nothing but nice things about Ronnie's http://www.crystalpalaceusvi.com/ . He is a regular contributor on this board and if has something available you might be able to work something our. If nothing else he'll get you in the right direction. *-)
