Darkness surrounds us once again.
Looks like power is off on the Northside, at least until one views Peterborg.
The start of Hurricane season will be upon us soon so all of you new to Islands, be prepared.
Ya never know when the power will go off or a storm may head our way.

So glad we pay so much for our electricity when they provide so little.Wish I could afford Solar.
Happy to have a full house generator but since we just had dinner and are sitting around enjoying company,I'll turn it off and enjoy the quiet , the breeze, and the stars.

it is rather relaxing if you let it be so. You also don't realize just how much noise and white noise there is until everything goes off... then you hear a few generators.. 8P

:o)

Wasn't a long outage. Came back on quite quickly but it was so nice and quiet for awhile.
We've been having quite a few outages and happy they are not of long duration as they usually happen when you are in the middle of something. Nice to stargaze for a change.

Yeah that is something i miss from the old STT, in the 80s there wasn't quite as much ambient night light and you could see the stars better. I really miss a sky packed with stars....
