Does anybody know what happened to the HD feed from WVGN on Dish network? Mine went to SD about two weeks ago. I called both Dish and WVGN and neither will admit any responsibility or knowledge of why or when it may come back. I have followed up with emails to Dish Customer Service and they have not provided any answers.

This from Dish:

"The programming dept is working with this situation and we hope to have NBC back again with a HD feed in the near future. As for now we will have NBC in SD until further notice."

That's the station with the sound issues. At least on my end. Perhaps they are fixing it, I hope.

Originates on STT http://www.wvgn.com/
Simulcast through Puerto Rico.

They had a schedule issue after daylights savings time, past sound issues, then this. Dish assures me they are working on a solution.

As far as the scheduling glitch was concerned, WVGN on STT swore that it was Dish's problem and not theirs, the sound issue remains and now this. Maybe Dish should seek an alternative provider since VGN doesn't seem to be able to do a very good job! When we used to get the regular network feeds from the East and West coasts there was none of this nonsense and Lord knows we pay enough. I have a couple of other issues with Dish but overall there's no decent alternative to them here.

Dish has been working on a problem with some channels in a package I subscribe to for 2 years now.

I've given up hope.

I have talked to dish many times. We live in the Caribbean and have very few other choices. Take it or leave it. That's the attitude.

Soon the other choice will be the Internet. Packages are already available at USTVNOW.com. The only problem then will be Internet speed and reliability. But again, we live in the Caribbean, take it or leave it. Very little competition.

We are not in the "footprint" of the satellites required. Even in the states this is purely a rural solution..... If it were offered here I would recommend BBVI as a first choice.
