so I am sure a lot of waiters, servers, etc will 'weigh' in here...but what is the protocol for tipping at places such as plaza extra, food center, etc for bag-person (boy) help?...or other non restaurant type help?

The baggers at Plaza work for tips. We shop once a week and usually tip a couple of dollars. Other tipping situations are the same as elsewhere in the US.

I give 'em a buck, biut, then again, I shop 4 or 5 times per week....so they aren't bagging much...
