Nothing beats a visit to the island but........ if you want get a general feel for the terrain, check this out (I got mine on Amazon).
Bike-O-Vision Cycling DVD #8 St. Croix, USVI
Its a dvd made for folks who want to exercise on a stationary bike but feel like they are cruising through St Croix. It has some cheesy accompanying music, but it lets you get a good taste of the big island. North, easst, south, west and Christiansted too.

I thought it would be cool to do that with hikes through Yellowstone Nat. Park! But to use on a treadmill.
