You have to be there in person and have proof of residency. If you're renting they will want to see the lease and the lease must be notarized unless it is a formal lease from a realtor. If you own bring in something that proves your mortgage. Of coarse all of this may not be necessary at all if they are in a good mood. But you take yer chances.

Otherwise there is a ups store that has boxes they may be willing to rent you one over the internet. They are slighly more expensive and in sunny isles which means there's always traffic there.

If you don't live on island you can set up a mailbox by phone at Mailboxes, Etc. in Sunny Isle.

Exactly. You will need to provide "proof" that you're renting (lease, etc.) and perhaps even provide a WAPA or Innovative phone bill for your residence. You'll also want to get a PO Box at one of the post offices that is convenient to where you're living. For example, you don't want to live out east and get a box in Kingshill of F'sted.

Gallows Bay has the rudest employees and the worst service of any of the Post Offices on Island; avoid getting you box there.

Richmond is centrally located and very customer friendly.

I have to agree about awful service, they've never been rude to me but it is by far the worst/slowest service you will get on island. The only good time to go is in the morning. For some reason in the afternoon they go down to one person at the service desk.

If yo live on the east end its already a pain to go to gallows and then to have to go through town traffic to get to richmonds and try to find parking is worth the slow sevice trade off of gallows bay to me at least..
