I was outside and barely able to hear it. Had I not known what it was it would have sounded like a cow giving birth.

You should sign up for text and mail alerts.

if it was real, you'd have been asking a bit too late.

Loud and very clear on STT north side and right on time, just as the media announcements over the past few weeks said ...

East end stx could not hear...
If real we would be screwed. Why one at Cramer
Park and not at CV fire station?

Poorly placed. If in hills of east end stx the
Sound does not travel well. Glad a test. Hopefully
They will move them around or add.

East End St. Croix......sounded very soft, couldn't understand speaker's message. Easily could have slept through it. They need to fix this warning system or yet another expensive VI failure.

I would assume there is one at Cramer's Park because it is a beach/park area that is frequently used and people would need to evacuate. There is also the NRAO facility across the road that is staffed and they would need to know. I think adding one to CV area is a good idea but moving the one at Cramer's is a bad idea.

If you're in an area where you either couldn't hear or barely heard the warning, best plan is to contact the agency in charge of the system and let them know. This is why the system is tested, to make sure it's working as it should.
